Bobs Bentwing Bird

When Bob was a young lad and was getting high off the glue from making 1:72nd scale plastic models, he had a dream to one day own a warbird. As he was growing up he saw the prices of old spitfires very quickly go past his savings so he looked elsewhere. Little did he know that the bloke down the road at Wagga Wagga had amassed an amazing Aladdins cave of old warbirds. P-47's , CAC boomerangs , Westland Lysanders , Boulton Paul Defiants and an old B-29 superfortress currently being used as a cow shed.

Well one day when Bob was out in his Datsun 240z dreaming of being a cross between Biggles and Al Deere he came across this old bloke ( only known as oldman Errol ) and he was smitten. And lucky for Bob, Errol was smitten with Bobs Datsun 240z. So on a handshake and a carton of beer the deal was done. A p47 missing a wing and an old corsair wing that Errol swore would work, in trade for the 240z.

Bob immediately broke out the ebay welder he had snaffled in a black friday sale and started to weld. Into the night all that could be seen and heard out at Black Stump was the lightning flashes of the welder and the sounds of a man cursing in wonderfully new and unique ways into the night. But one day, one magnificent day, a sound was heard. Kangaroos spontaneously gave birth. Emu's decided to kick off Emu War 2 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War ). The 16 people in Urandangie Queensland looked up from their work and saw a shape in the sky.

Is that a bird ? is that a plane ? No thats Bob in a "what the heck is that" ! A legend was born.
